Damn thing nearly got up to my hip and it weighs like a massive fuck-ton.
How goes your day, Oppo?

O h baby , tempered glass? Are they expecting a lot of rage quits?
side- note; Is it possible to get a case that doesn’t glow these days?

Cool case (pun intended) , looks expensive. What spec are you building?

I went with this:

I think there is another Oppo with one as well.
Only light is the power/HDD light (which is too bright, but that’s another story). My video card does have RGB lighting but it is off. The motherboard has always on red LEDs, but given no window, you can’t see them.

Now that my new motherboard has (allegedly) arrived my day has gotten much better. My weekend starts tomorrow so I can spend the next few days rebuilding computers. The tricky part is going to be finding desk/workbench space.

Trying to figure out how to get more money. Currently, I can come in to work at noon- ish if I want to , which leaves a morning job on the table as a possibility... But that late start has been such a blessing. I can have a night life, sleep in, go to the gym in the AM ... Then again, More money means more fun, more savings and higher- level adulting . I’m conflicted.
That thing looks beastly. One of these days I just know I'll join the dark side (PC Gaming)

I also have that case, and I'm sure I've made no mention of it on here, so make that 3 of us

I’m on my count down. In tonight (in an hour to be precise), then three nights off, two more in, then 18 nights off.

just a little longer to go :)

Quite well. Up to 7 large fans:
2x140mm or 3x120mm in the front (and venting around the side of the bezel seems to not be a bottleneck
1x120mm in the rear
2x140mm or 2x120mm on top (I don’t use these, preferring to keep things a bit quieter.)
1x120mm on the bottom (decent clearance here because of the tall feet, can’t be used if you are using 3.5" hard drives)
Lots of cooling for an mATX case. I’m getting good CPU temperatures even with the intake fans off most of the time (need to adjust the curves, though, not enough airflow to the video card with those off). My biggest complaints are that the cable guide thing blocks a side facing USB 3 header on my motherboard, and that there’s no type C port on the front (Fractal Design has added one to the Define R6, but nothing for the Mini C)

For the life of me I wish I could have found the ATX version of my Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 3. The scourge of RGB has not touched this one.

You should have little monkeys dancing around that monolith (I do like it though!)

I am a big fan of Fractal Design. Mine is a Core 1000 similar to the Arc Mini.

Seriously, might as well keep it on a moving dolly.

I have this. Power and storage leds are quite bright though. The white version looks better to me but still ended up with a black one.

I work 10 hour night shifts for $16.25 an hour, and sleep about 7 to 9 hours. That leaves me about two to three hours of free time at home. The upside is, I have three-day weekends. I personally favor this format over the usual “five day work week”, because it lets you have more time to recuperate, focus your thoughts and relax.

Gotcha, didn’t look like there were enough vents on the sides, but that sounds awesome.

I used to have one just like this! Slightly different front mount.
Was there no way to get the screws to work? I’ve cheated with the grounding a bit on those.

I like the basic form. Simple but practical.

The PSU is just too close for it to physically extend down that far. The bottom row of chassis I/O on the mb are the problem.

My point is that I’ve never seen a full tower be 3 feet tall. I’m 6'.

It's... Huge. I'm afraid that Thermaltake thought that my case wasn't huge enough.

I don’t mind long days, and as long as I have at one day off every week I’m fine. It’s just... I cannot get used to an early schedule. Spent 4 years working a morning job, never acclimated. Went from there to a night shift (7pm-midnight mo n-sat) and absolutely loved it.

I hear you. Some of us function better at night.

Ahh, full towers take me back. I got a really really old one at my shop that’s almost 4 feet tall.
